It is more of a comedy and not really sad. Juliet is happy that she is getting married to Romeo. It is somewhat humorous, because the nurse is teasing Juliet and not telling her what Romeo said for a while.

Juliet waits for the nurse to tell her the news bout Romeo. The nurse arrives and teases Juliet by waiting to tell her the news about her marriage by stating that she is out of breath. The nurse tells Juliet Romeo wants to marry her and they will meet in Friar Laurence's cell. Juliet is now extremely happy.

The scene began with Juliet talking to herself. she talked about her love for Romeo and wonders where Nurse is because Juliet sent her to find Romeo three hours before. The nurse then entered Juliet's room and teases her for a little while, saying she is too tired to tell Juliet about Romeo's message right then. Juliet started to become upset. Nurse finally told Juliet about Romeo's plans for a secret marriage with Juliet.
